Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Programming and Front-End Web Development)

This qualification is for people who have specialised skills in technical ICT work. They work independently or as part of a team, and may be in charge of leading projects. They can use their skills in many different industries or as a business owner.

These roles may require skills like:

• Advanced programming: using advanced programming skills to manage data and create user interfaces
• Front end web development: creating complex websites and user experience solutions using coding languages

To apply for this course, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Participate in an interview and initial skill assessment.
• Have completed Australian Year 12 or have a Certificate IV or higher from an Australian institution.
• Meet the evidentiary requirements for your country of origin.
• Demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS score of at least 5.5, with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
