Certificate III in Dental Assisting

This qualification reflects the role of workers who assist a dentist, dental hygienist, dental prosthetist, dental therapist or oral health therapist during oral health care procedures.

This qualification is delivered over a period of 633 hours including 250 hours placement. Participants enrolled in this course will have up to 37 weeks (including the end of year holiday and term breaks) to complete the course requirements.

• Be at least 18 years or over
• Minimum IELTS score is 5.5
• Have completed the equivalent of Year 11 or equivalent
