Remedial Massage

This qualification covers people who want to be self-employed and work as independent practitioners and those who want to work within a larger health service. It provides the skills to provide remedial massage treatment to clients with specific needs such as injury management, rehabilitation, palliative care and aged care. Practitioners at this level may supervise other massage therapists.

The delivery is classroom based, face-to-face, so that you can complete in-class activities including: role plays, presentations, practice exercises and discussions. You will be provided with textbooks and workbooks to support the learning. Delivery had been timetabled to ensure you can develop the theoretical skills and knowledge and have the opportunity to develop practical massage skills in a simulated situation before commencing the practical (clinic) component of the course.

Individual learning includes; work/home-study, the Completion of assignments and Individual reading and research.
