Accounting and Bookkeeping

Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping at Australian College of Trade reflects the job roles of workers in the accounting industry, Including BAS agents and contracted bookkeepers; and of those employees performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. It includes preparing and lodging business and instalment activity statements and providing advice or dealing with the Commissioner on behalf of taxpayer in relation to activity statements. Individuals in these roles apply theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work autonomously and exercise judgment in completing routine and non-routine activities.

• Completion of year 11 or equivalent (subject to the assessment and approval of Australian College of Trade Admission team)
• English requirements IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or TOEFL PB 506, IBT 62, PTE Academic 46, CAE & CPE (from 2015) 152
• Applicants must be 18 years of age and above
